Yes, regular attendance at the most compelling industry conferences. 1 whole day per week dedicated to catching up on any changes in algorithms, best practices, or case studies.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved web design, even when it was called ANSI code and the "site" was a BBS. I never knew any other type of work.
