We had a decent web site (Wordpress CMS) but we were not showing up in Google or Bing for any of our key terms. Search Geeks optimized the site and built out our social media presence as well.It took about 1.5-2 months before we started showing up. We are currently getting leads from the work they did. We are still a current client.

Our site was outdated and lacked social media functionality and traffic. We wagered that Search Geeks, a local company, would be able to understand our needs and complete the job within the specs we needed. They definitely delivered. Yes, regular attendance at the most compelling industry conferences. 1 whole day per week dedicated to catching up on any changes in algorithms, best practices, or case studies.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved web design, even when it was called ANSI code and the "site" was a BBS. I never knew any other type of work.
