Introduction: Some tutoring companies have packaged programs that they slot their students into based on test results and require clients to sign long term contracts for thousands of dollars. Other tutors are students themselves earning money to help pay for school. AZ Math Tutors has NJ licensed Math Teachers with Master Degrees in Education and over 10 years of high school classroom experiece. There are no long term contracts to sign and each lesson is cutom fit to the particular needs of the client. We stress understanding and work to eliminate any fear of math that may be inhibiting ablity. If for any reason the client is not happy with our services, there is no penalty for discontinuing. In fact, our first lesson is FREE, with no obligations. This allows the client to test the tutor and make certain they are the person that fits their need. I love to see a student's eyes light up when they understand something they didn't before. I love to open the doors to their future by taking away the fear of math. Too many career decisions are based on the math requirements to reach it. I want to help students of all ages fullfill their dreams and not let math stand in their way.

What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients usually range from 5th to 12th grade. However, I do teach adults. I am most happy when I teach a parent and child together because then the parent is able to help the child at home if needed.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not sign a long term contract that has penalties for leaving. You want to be able to leave if the results are not what you expected or if your financial situation changes. Make sure the tutor has classroom teaching experience. It adds a perspective to the lessons that is not there otherwise.
