We were very impressed with the level of professionalism and project management of the Aerotek team. When we requested a mold inspection, the visit was quick and efficient, and samples were collected from every room of the house, plus specific areas where we had questions. They also tested for moisture. The remediation itself, which was in the basement crawlspace, was a well-coordinated operation. It felt like we had a project manager from the beginning; they came in and laid out expectations for what they would do and how they would do it. We assumed that they would have to carry the garbage up the stairs and out the back door, but they determined that the more efficient/cleaner method would be to transport it through the basement window. Their priority seemed to be keeping our home clean, preventing contamination and leaving no trace of their work. Overall they did a great job and kept us at ease through the whole process.

From start to finish, Aerotek has provided us with top notch professional service as we have navigated the mold issue at a house we just purchased. Brandon Schmidt, who did our initial pre-sale inspection, was clear and informative; he even took a look at photos of our crawl space after the contractor hired by our sellers "cleaned" the mold. Brandon was not convinced the mold was gone, and neither were we.Once the house was ours, Aerotek sent Steve Koehler and his team to tackle the cleanup job in the crawl space and attic. They sealed off the rest of the house for maximum protection, donned their hazmat suits, and went to work. They were friendly and efficient, and Steve even gave us his personal cell number just in case we had any follow-up questions or concerns.Today, just two days after the cleanup, we received the certificate and five-year warranty for their work. This company deserves ten stars for outstanding communication, efficiency, and expertise.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free telephone consultation so you can describe what is going on before you commit to anything, and we will tell you honestly whether an inspection is even needed. If an air testing and inspection is recommended, we explain the testing fee in plain language so there are no surprises on your visit. Pricing depends on the size of the property, the number of samples sent to the certified laboratory. We are happy to talk through options in English or Spanish so you can make the right decision for your home and your concern.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project starts where I listen to your concerns, ask about the history of the property, and explain what an air testing and inspections will tell you. From there I schedule with you an on-site inspection and testing, performing a visual and moisture assessment, and collect air or surface samples that go to an accredited independent laboratory. Once results come back, I send a clear written report with photos, lab data, and practical recommendations, and I take the time to walk you through everything so you understand exactly what was found.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified mold inspector working under Aerotek Environmental LLC, an IICRC Certified Firm with verified state credentials including New Jersey HIC Registration 13VH06811800 and Pennsylvania Contractor License 091719. Our team holds professional certifications through the Indoor Air Quality Association, the American Indoor Air Quality Council, and the National Association of Mold Professionals, along with EPA Lead Safe and NJCCC Renovator and Dust Sampling Technician credentials. I keep up with continuing education in indoor air quality, moisture intrusion, and laboratory sampling protocols so every inspection follows current industry standards.
