FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not a 'one size fits all' approach for two reasons. First, not all homes are created equal, and unless you built/remodeled the room(s) in question, we do not know what is behind each wall. Second, unlike many other trades, I look to provide the most transparent pricing possible. I do not believe in post-completion fees, add-ons, etc. that were not discussed or agreed upon early in the project. My assurance is that my initial quoted price is the BEST estimate I can provide with limited information (prior to physically seeing the space). Most trades (electricians, plumbers, roofers, etc.) will not give you an 'in and out' price before they see what the project entails, and I model my pricing practices to be an identical approach. If I am providing product, then 100% of product will have to be paid for up front, while services will require payment in full upon completion. I am open to discounts for cash-based payments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My object is to provide a price that is competitive with others in this trade, while also being fair and aligned with the level of competency I bring to complete your project. In order to do this, I am very thorough in understanding the end result that is desired, the equipment that is client provided, identifying equipment that is recommended if I cannot sell direct, as well as equipment that I can provide. I will look to do this during a discovery call/on-site consultation, so that I can retain my intent to complete your project within the specified timeframe by removing any roadblocks. My intent is to understand all users, influencers, and financers of the project, so that I can best tailor my approach and recommendations to all decision makers involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In regards to residential/commercial networking, I have received internal company training on Netgear, Luxul, Orbi, Eero, Ruckus, and ISP provided equipment. I have more than 10 years of in-home installation, and sales experience, with proficiencies in, but not limited to: TV mounting, pre-construction/retrofit wire installation/concealment, audio installation including, but not limited to, soundbars, SONOS, 2 channel Hi-Fi, surround systems, and whole home distributed audio.
