I would also like to add "Responsiveness and Value". I could only choose two. I highly recommend Passionate Chef for your wedding (party, event, etc.). I contacted Passionate Chef literally a few weeks prior to my micro-wedding in July. The wedding venue would take place in our home for 16 guests. Lacking success with other vendors, he immediately responded and used my suggestions for the menu. I noticed how on top Passionate/Chef James was with the menu and pricing. Furthermore, I met him prior to our event with a food tasting. Who does that?! We ate his menu food samples for 2 days, lol! It was delicious! On the day of the wedding, again...Passionate Chef showed up on time (actually earlier, and I loved it!). He came prepared and didn't need me for anything. We discussed sequence of events (due to hot, humid weather streak) because we had an enclosed outdoor tent. He suggested appetizers indoors and main food outdoors leaving guests with options to eat where they wanted. Chef James and his assistant operated smoothly not needing us for anything. The groom and I could tend to our guests and be in the moment. To start, guests had spanakopita and shrimp. We all feasted on his harvest salad which consisted of shaved brussels, toasted almonds, and red onion with balsamic vinaigrette. Delicious! He prepared vegan dishes including steak cauliflower and roasted herb potatoes to appease a vegan guest. For our entrees, Chef James prepared baked Cornish hen and sliced sirloin steak. Delicious! When the photographer completes the pictures, I will upload some of the food images. Professional and Reliable...words to describe Passionate Chef. I know it is not easy choosing a food vendor and you may be filled with "what ifs" and "I don't know"....trust me, when you interact/meet Chef James all your fears will subside. Nothing but great vibes and my guests enjoyed not only his food but him as well! Thank you Chef James!

I cannot say enough how amazing James and his team was to work with! They made our wedding weekend truly special. James was super responsive while picking the menu and he even came to my house to do a tasting which was AMAZING! He catered a three day weekend wedding event and I didn't have to lift a finger or worry about one thing. His crew even helped my coordinator to set up the tables and style the table settings. Most importantly, everyone RAVED about the food! The food was delicious! The chicken saltimbocca was so tender and the filet didn't even need a knife to cut it was that tender. I would highly recommend the Passionate Chef if you want a stress free event with amazing food and staff!

Chef James was amazing! So glad I booked him for my partner’s birthday. I loved the menu he sent over with options and pricing. He was one of the only chefs I contacted who really incorporated my partner’s likes and dislikes. He made a plate with steak and lobster and a lobster with seafood risotto. Both were delicious. The dessert was phenomenal!!! He made a cookies and cream dish with an almond glaze. I would definitely book him again.

We had Chef James come for a 15 person special occasion dinner and it did not disappoint! Chef James was flexible with my requests and went above and beyond the expectations with a proposed menu following our initial consultation. He was punctual upon arrival, extremely professional, and made great tasting food. I was worried about potential inclement weather and he put my worries at ease stating he would be there no matter what. This was my first time doing a private chef experience and I would definitely recommend Chef James to anyone who is looking for a great experience, and delicious food!

We hired James for a surprise birthday dinner for my husbands 60th birthday in our rental vacation home. He worked with me right from the beginning planning a menu that would accommodate the dietary restrictions of some of our family. He showed up right on time and somehow managed to prepare and serve a beautiful delicious dinner from a kitchen he’d never even seen! I would highly recommend him to anyone. My husband was so surprised and our whole family loved the experience.
