Tim does good work. HOWEVER he left my bathroom walls incomplete! Half of the walls are textured and HALF are flat. While his solution to repaint the walls to bring out the semi-gloss worked it DOES NOT fix the issue of the textured walls vs the flat walls. When I told him about this problem he REFUSED to respond to problem. I will be contacting an atty.

I did the job as you asked. I offered suggestions to fix the problem with your decision. If you wanted the bathroom textured you needed to inform me prior to the agreement. This was not the first job I did for you. You never had a problem before. I went above and beyond the parameters of the agreement. At some point I have to stop with all the favors. I did exactly what you wanted and paid for. I doo not feel this is a just complaint. But, you have the right to your opinion.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Normally, I charge a flat fee per hour. I enjoy the fact that I get paid weekly on the completed portions of the project. The agreement gets broken into sections for payments. This guarantees that the customer never pays too much too soon. It also helps when I finish that I am not owed too much.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am enrolled at Cumberland County College for my Construction Supervisors Accreditation, via online courses.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Building Trades was an option in High School. We built 3 homes during y last 3 years of High School. I was hooked!
