FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For smaller repair and handyman projects, I typically work at an hourly rate of $75/hour, with a 2-hour minimum, and bill in half-hour increments after that. This approach works well when there are multiple small items or repairs, and it helps keep things fair and transparent. For larger or clearly defined projects, I provide written estimates after reviewing the scope in person. I focus on clear communication up front so there are no surprises once work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a brief conversation to understand the project and goals. For most jobs, the next step is an on-site walkthrough so I can assess the space, confirm scope, and answer questions. Once everything is clear, I explain how the work will be handled—whether hourly or by estimate—and schedule the work. I keep communication straightforward throughout the process and make sure the job site is left clean when the work is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed and insured general contractor in New Jersey and a veteran-owned business. My background includes hands-on experience across residential repairs, remodeling, and finish work, along with formal safety and technical training from my military service. I also stay current with local building practices and code requirements and work with licensed trade professionals when specialized work is required.
