My experience with Kara started 2 years ago when she began working with my special needs daughter giving her therapeutic riding lessons. I have seen my daughter make the most amazing accomplishments with Kara. I also have Kara working with my own horse. My mare had been a lawn ornament for a couple of years and Kara is really training both of us (my mare and me) to get back to the business of riding!Apr 23, 2017
Kara Stark-McGrew is a knowledgeable and patient riding instructor. She has worked with my son, who has autism, for 17 years beginning when he was 10. She has a real gift for working with people with development disabilities. I started riding for the first time six years ago when I was 59. Kara has helped me overcome fear and frustration. She knows when to push and when to back away. I am a much more competent and confident rider because of her.Apr 22, 2017
I have been taking riding lessons with Kara for 3 years. I was an adult beginner, and she made me feel totally comfortable and confident in the saddle. I recently got my own horse, who is green, and she is working with both of us to get the most out of our horse/rider relationship. Would recommend as horse trainer or instructor for English or Western riders!Apr 24, 2017
Kara has been my daughters horse back riding Trainer for almost 4 years now. She takes her time and will address issues with both horse and rider. My daughter had, had a bad riding accident prior to going to Kara and KSM. Kara took her time with my daughter restoring her confidence in riding. She not only worked with my daughter but her horses as well. She's extremely knowledgeable and well versed and has the utmost patients. I highly recommend KSM for riding lessons whether just beginning or experienced as well as horse training.Apr 23, 2017
