FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After receiving the initial information regarding an event, I will set aside a time to call you where we can discuss more in detail the particulars of your event and what you'd like from me aside from performing magic for your guests (such as dress codes) along with any additional questions that you may have for me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Tannen’s Magic Camp in Brynn Mawr, Pennsylvania from 2012 to 2013. During my time at TMC, I received education in parlor & stage magic, mentalism, stand-up comedy, acting, sleight-of-hand, theater tech (lighting, sound, etc), and business management. Some of my professors include Michael Carbonaro (star of “The Carbonaro Effect”), Derek Hughes (“America’s Got Talent!” finalist and actor from films such as “Mr. Deeds”), and Harrison Greenbaum (finalist on “Last Comic Standing”). In high school, I was a member of both my school’s debate team and drama club. Being involved in both extracurricular activities helped me strengthen my: character as both a person & a performer, my ability to feel comfortable in front of a crowd, work under pressure, and the ability to adapt to change, no matter the circumstances. Off-stage, I am currently a college student pursuing my Bachelor's in Business Management and an active member of the global business club Enactus.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Even though I received a magic set at the age of 4, I didn't become overly enthusiastic about magic until I was 13. I decided to "re-learn" the art form when I came across magic tutorial videos featuring Justin Willman (Netflix's "Magic for Humans") teaching basic sleight-of-hand tricks. I was immediately hooked when I showed my classmates the aforementioned tricks and they all started talking about how cool they were!
