R&A Plumbing completely restored my faith in using Thumbtack for home services. My prior experiences had been so poor that I almost gave up on the app, but desperation led me to try one more time, and R&A Plumbing exceeded my expectation. Their 5-star reviews are absolutely legit, unlike many other services where the high ratings don't match the 2-star quality of work. My issue was a complex one: my boiler had stopped working a month ago, and a previous plumber messed things up badly. He replaced the circulator, which failed immediately, and then returned only to "fix it" by hot-wiring the boiler to run 24/7. This caused the system's safety mechanism to lock the boiler and shut down the circulator entirely. Rigo from R&A Plumbing handled the service. Although they arrived late due to a previous job, once Rigo got started, he was immediately focused. He took his time analyzing the mess of wiring left by the previous technician. He thoroughly tested his theories and figured out the best course of action to resolve the underlying issue. Rigo is one of the most knowledgeable plumbers I have ever encountered. Not only does he know his craft, but he is able to explain complex issues clearly. At no point did I feel he was exaggerating the problems or pushing me to spend unnecessary money, which I truly appreciated. He worked tirelessly through the night and refused to leave until my boiler was working again. He kept me informed every step of the way, explaining his diagnosis and proposed changes before making any major moves. The dedication was astonishing. After fixing the boiler and completely rewiring my system, he realized a new thermostat was needed. It was 5 AM, and instead of leaving me to handle the part replacement myself, he offered to go purchase the part when the store opened at 6 AM, return, and install it. I know for a fact no other plumber would offer such a commitment after working all night. I sincerely appreciate Rigo's professionalism, deep knowledge of his job, and dedication to seeing the job through to 100% completion. Hire R&A Plumbing; they are worth every penny.

Excellent work on our Navien 180E tankless boiler. Rigo and team cleaned up the water and air filters, descaled and cleaned the unit. Also gave advice on replacing the pump and out of condition air outlet valve - will be hiring him again to complete those repairs as well. Recommended.

Rigo and his team were top notch. They saw the issues with my Navien tankless boiler, fixed and improved its performance. They also advised me on how to improve my water pressure and I hired them to replace the RPZ valve, put in water arrestors for the washing machine and other things. I like how Rigo advises and I consult him for my plumbing issues. He always responds to my texts, and I plan to retain them for annual services. They are always on time and clean up spotless after they finish. Great find!
