What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be reasonable with pricing so that customers tend to come back. I charge $50 an hour. Yet if the project is a great amount of hours I tend to work a few more hours give or take to make the client satisfied. I say customer is always right!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to read blogs and go to lynda.com for information. I am only as strong as the information that is out there for the current designer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was either this or being a chef. I decided to excel at cooking on my own and make money off the design factor. I always had a knack for developing / designing it was just a little elbow grease to get my palms wet.
