Introduction: I'm a record producer/audio engineer and songwriter to the stars. I also do band rehearsal. Raphael "Riffraph" Hamilton is already a veteran of the music business and has been pursuing musical success for many years. He got his start in 1997, when his brother Roy "Royalty" Hamilton was a member of an R. Kelly sponsored recording group called Vegas Cats. Then barely a teenager, Riffraph or (Nazdaq) hung around Kelly's Chicago recording studio, "Rockland," soaking up any knowledge he could. Even then, he was interested in creating music and had been rapping since he was 7 years old. He wrote verses for the Vegas Cats including collaborations with Jay-Z, Noreaga, Camron and Slick Rick, but the group never released a CD. In 2002, Riffraph or Nazdaq rapped and cowrote on Keith Sweat's album, "Rebirth," which debuted at number 7 on the Billboard R&B Charts while he learned to make his own beats. He was one of the five writers on the Britney Spears' song, "(I Got That) Boom Boom" on her 2003 CD, "In The Zone." After relocating to California in 2004, Raphael Hamilton seasoned his craft behind the boards, engineering sessions for recording artists that included Ne-Yo and Mario, Cj Hilton, The Cheetah Girls, Elle Varner, Riz, George Nozuka, and Shanell aka SNL of Young Money. Most recently, he has produced "Number One" by R. Kelly featuring Keri Hilson, which reached number 8 on Billboard's R&B/hip-hop charts, and independent artist, Stevi Leigh. He released his first mixtape as a solo artist named "Four Corners." Stay tuned; there is more to come.
