Because I am a Certified New Jersey Interior Designer, I need to complete continuing education classes. This helps to keep me up on the latest trends, products, safety and welfare topics.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was five years old and I loved helping my aunt when she renovated homes and flipped them. I couldn't wait to help her set up her furniture and accessories. I use to move my furniture around in my own room and use objects as different decorative items. My junior year of high school I finally deiced that is what I would go to college for.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I help clients explore what they need and how to achieve it for their budget. Services we provide are Color Consultations, Bath & Kitchen Remodels- from concept to completion. Custom Design Booklets that include, floor plans, reusing clients existing furniture, suggestions for window treatments, accessories and built ins. We also do shopping days, clients never pay retail.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You have to feel comfortable with that person, because Interior Design is a personal process. You need to be honest and open and trust in the Designers Ability to help you discover and execute your desires.
