I'm a conservatory-level trained instructor/guitarist/musician who will always go the extra mile to make sure that my students reach their musical goals, no matter what their aspirations may be. lessons are always designed specifically for the individual students needs. there is no one-size-fits-all approach. everyone has to have a passion in life, and mine has always been teaching, music, and performing! I thoroughly enjoy watching the student progress from one level, to the next, to the next. improvements and musical breakthroughs happen on a regular basis and they're just a joy to watch and experience!

Aside from being very down to earth and flexible. Brian is very professional, very talented, his knowledge of music is extensive. Being patient and well rounded with beginners and intermediate players; I couldn’t of selected a better instructor. By the completion of my first lesson, I knew I would be returning for more. I have been playing for years and have had a couple prior instructors. If I would of had Brian from the beginning. I can’t even imagine where my abilities would be now. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thnx Brian!!

Brian is a very nice person to work with. Very professional. He comes to my home and has a flexible schedule. He brings materials and an instrument to use. Gives an excellent lesson for the value --- he often stays late and focuses on what we want to accomplish rather than time. He gives quality instruction and focuses on fundamentals that I know will translate very well to future learning. Highly recommended.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, My hourly rate varies slightly depending on how far I have to travel to the students location. $50-60/hr and $30-35/half hr.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I immediately ask a bunch of questions about the students musical background, find out about preferred styles, techniques, acoustic or electric guitar, goals, aspirations, realistic expectations, and I develop a course of instruction based on the students answers, and off we go to having a blast learning guitar and laughing and having a lot of fun!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Musical training at the Conservatory-level in guitar performance, music theory, ear-training, dictation, historical context, Instruction and other music-related subjects.
