Javier and his crew did great quality work. He was extremely knowledgeable about landscaping and made key recommendations and worked diligently and professionally to make sure the job was done right and went above and beyond to make sure all the work was dine properly. Also gave a lot of tips and tricks for maintenance. Very very nice guy

Javier was very professional and very knowledgeable. He was very easy to work with and did an amazing job trimming , edging, weeding and planting new flowers.

REPEAT HIRE: EXCELLENT SERVICE / WIDE STONE LANDSCAPING TRANSFORMING OUR 2 ACRE RETREAT 2017
(READ ABOUT OUR 1st TIME: CONDO GARDEN MAKEOVER BELOW this 2 acre remodeling).
We purchased a great rural, two acre property right next to our son's farm. The house is in renovation now but the property was so overgrown and weedy it looked awful. There will be a time for the Wide Stone touch, with flowers and opulence later, (READ ABOUT MY FIRST TIME USING WIDE STONE, Below). For now I needed a major cleanup.
WOW, what a difference! Javier and his crew yanked weeds, trimmed back a jumbled jungle-mess in front and mulched around the ornamentals and plants he found under the overgrowth.
He trimmed a gorgeous, shady, evergreen giant in front and did a major job reshaping a fabulous oak tree behind the house. It was WAY over-hanging the house. Lots of massive dead branches. Tons of climbing poison ivy. It's gorgeous now, lifting its arms to heaven and bearing my grandkids in swings and tires from strong, dependable limbs. The team mulched and cut back all around the property.
Javier put in gutters and was eager to be sure all his work met our needs. His prompt and courteous crew removed the tangles all around the property, cut back growth giving us a better traffic view on the sides, and left behind the clean area we need in order to access the house more easily for the next step: new siding, decks and porches.
When the house is completed, Wide Stone and Javier will be gladly welcomed back for the awesome floral landscaping we have co e to trust, whole-heartedly.
CONDO GARDEN 2015
I chose Wide Stone Outdoor Services because I was immediately impressed by the responses and large landscaped estate photographs that landscaper Javier Torres placed on Thumbtack. I have certainly not been disappointed. I was so glad to find that he was willing to do my much smaller job. The work he did on my 55+ Adult community property was outstanding. I live on a golf course and everyone who passed remarked on the night and day difference my beautiful corner property now displays.
Javier was personable and so very accomplished: in one day, he has literally transformed my entire landscaping: He refreshed and removed limbs from my older( but still able to flower) lovely ornamental cherry tree, and so, enabled sunshine to penetrate to our front lawn area. There, he laid sod and placed a sprinkler on a timer. My poor cherry tree was suffocating, in what I thought was a simple ivy, however, it was nothing less than poison ivy, climbing high up on the trunk of the tree. Javier's staff removed the poison ivy, treated the area where it had been growing, leveled it, cleaned up the rock border, mulched, and added a lovely selection of autumn marigolds around the base of my tree.
He trimmed my pachysandra back, laid the sod on the now sunny lawn near that area, cleaned up and refreshed the small stone areas in my slider balcony areas; added azaleas on the side garden, after cleaning up, leveling, mulching and landscaping the long side Russian sage and azalea garden under my Japanese cherry tree.
In the back facing the golf course he removed weeds, cut back and enormous holly and cleaned out a plot that we can now use for our big outdoor grill. Javier also added underground drains to all our downspouts, which will dissipate the rainwater and keep squirrels and chipmunks out of the spouts.
We plan to use Wide Stone again throughout the year, and I know that my neighbors, who asked for his information, will call upon him too. Be sure to get extra business cards from Javier at Wide Stone Outdoor Services, you'll need them.
