I'm a working mom with a 3yr old and newborn twins. Not much time to sort and fold our laundry as often as I'd like. I had piles of clean clothes and lots of things to give and throw away. Sophia was great at helping me sort through ALL of the mess, she helped me organize my closet so that I can actually see the floor and what was inside of it. They misrepresented themselves as organizers . They charged me for an organizer and an assistant. They also want to charge me xtra for dusting. A rotating of 4 hours for one 6 shelf bookcase and one 3 tiered shelf. They also left a message which I had to clean up. Charging me over $800. I will never use this service again. As we discussed, due to the level of disorganization of your space, an assistant was needed to tackle the job, which you formally agreed to via contract. Unfortunately, we were not able to decipher the level of dust and debris that we would've encountered in your home, so a full dusting session was needed in order to properly complete the job. We hope you were happy with the outcome as we worked as best as we could given the extremely hot working conditions. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Our typical process for working with a new customer is to have an initial consultation session over the phone which generally last 10-15 minutes. This allows us to get to know our potential client and their exact needs beyond what their request was able to share with us online. Then, we draft a final quote and a simple work agreement for them to sign. We agree on a session date and time via email and this information is included in the work agreement for both the customer and for us to sign. Lastly, through our secure payment system, the full payment is required in order to reserve their time slot with us. A calendar invite with your organizers full name and number, the address, the arrival time and all tips for preparing for your session are sent to you confirming your appointment. For larger projects, we do accept deposits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Our expertise is completely self-taught however we do acquire outside knowledge monthly via organizing styles such as the kon-mari technique and the S.P.A.C.E technique.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Sophia has always been fond of organizing since childhood and even into early adulthood as she would always organize her families’ homes and offer interior decor advice. Now, over 25 years later as a mature adult, she has realized her passion for helping others live more comfortably by educating them on how an organized life awards us with the abilities to live more efficiently and functionally.
