It really is a shame that Thumbtack would tolerate such nonsense. The simple job itself was for epoxying cracks only inside of a basement that consisted of slightly grinding the cracks out beforehand. The job was a minimum job and cost. All precautions were taken as job photos substantiate such. The wife expressed concern regarding dust and we immediately stopped the work and walked the husband through. We advised that if the job was to dusty that we would stop the work and not collect the payment and vacate the property. The husband insisted that we finish the job and understood that we took all necessary precautions possible. Upon completion, we walked the husband over the entire job who was completely satisfied and signed off on our completion sheet indicated so along with supplying the final payment in full. He advised to not worry about the wife and thanked us for the work and insisted that everything was good to go. To date, our office has still not received any notice of any issues and we are completely satisfied with the work performed.

Thank you for your response. However, the accusations and assumptions are completely false against our company. Thumbtack specifically charged us for your information in which you were requested mold testing with a laboratory report. We immediately advised your our air quality testing fee which you quickly declined as for some reason you had thought there would not have been a charge involved. If you had originally requested a simple "inspection" yes we offer free estimates. However, again your initial contact request through Thumbtack clearly indicated mold testing with a laboratory report which we were charged for. It seems as if you were mismatched or expecting something different than actual mold testing which involves a certified inspector conducting air quality samples with an expensive piece of equipment that gets sent to an actual laboratory. Good luck in your search and perhaps Thumbtack should change your request form removing testing requests.
