About

As a swim instructor for over 10 years, I have had many different teaching experiences. While I currently teach private clients, I also have worked at the YMCA and private swim schools in Brooklyn. I teach students of all ages, skills, and abilities. I teach babies, adults, children, and older adults, as well as students with disabilities.

Leah has been great so far & my children love her. She works really well with my children ranging from 4yrs to 17. I already see improvement after two lessons.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $95 for a 45-minute lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We observe the student's comfort and stroke levels in the water. We advise which supports, floats, and resistance equipment will be appropriate for the student to improve their strength and technique.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Water Safety Instructor with the American Red Cross. I am Silver Sneakers certified to provide fitness training to older adults. I have an American Swim Coach Association certificate to teach students with disabilities. I am able to use Spanish and American Sign Language in class.
