- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $25/1hr for recording and mixing. We will discuss an estimate for how long I should work on mixing the project. Depending on the project, the hours mixing will vary. If it's simple it could be 1 to 2 hours. If more complicated it could take 3 to 5 hours. Once I've reached the estimated point I will notify the client and we can discuss what to do from there. If the client is happy with it, then the work is complete. On the other-hand, if the client thinks it needs more work, then we can discuss what the pricing will be from there on. You're business is important and I will work with you regarding pricing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Drew University. - How did you get started doing this type of work?I went to college at Drew University and received my B.A. in Music Theory and Composition. I went to IAR with the idea of getting into writing music for film, but at the school I learned their are many different fields one can get into in this industry. At first I worked as an intern in a recording studio in the Film Center building. Now I currently work as an audio engineer for audiobooks at DuArt.
