I am a swim instructor with years of experience working at a premium NJ day camp. My swim lessons are full of learning, fun, and are very energetic. I am the Aquatics Director managing a team of 14 Instructors, teaching them techniques for success, overseeing 500+ campers giving them the most out of lessons. With a lot of success.
I have my W.S.I which is a water Safety Instructor qualification, my lifeguard cert and first aid/CPR.
I am also a qualified lifeguard and I am willing to life guard any private events that you may need. I have life guarded for many years now and even managed a group of guards during several big events.
Let's have fun while we learn to swim! I can provide a variety of lessons, from parent and child to group lessons and even private lessons. Whatever the customer's preference is, I'm happy to help.

Both my kids learned to swim with Mark. He is very good with kids, teaches very well such that kids are constantly engaged and are constantly progressing. I highly recommend Mark for anyone looking for a swim instructor.

Mark responded to my original enquiry extremely quickly. He has been fantastic teaching both our 6 and 12 year old. They love the lessons. He manages to make the lessons fun while also teaching them a variety of skills and techniques relevant to their level of swimming. Mark is reliable and always on time.

Mark has been teaching me to swim. He's super patient, encouraging, and, thus far, willing to demonstrate techniques repeatedly :) He is flexible with his schedule and a great instructor. Given the opportunity, I'd refer anyone wanting to learn how to swim to him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to work with the client to work out the appropriate price, depending on their needs, as well as work out special prices for block booking etc
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with the customer to asses their needs and see what is the best route for them. And then get straight into the water, I am available to talk to and meet new customers before any commitment is made.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a qualified Water Safety Instructor by the American red cross since 2011, with refresh courses every year. As well as being CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard trained. I coach and manage a group of instructors every summer to become better instructors and work on their skills as well as always improving my own
