Greene’s was the first to respond to my request, and I was in a time crunch so I hired him, as he said he could show up the next day. He also said he could come in the morning the next day since he would have to put his other job on hold due to rain. I agreed to the price and time. Well, the next day rolled around and he did not show on time nor did he let me know he would be late. I texted and called a couple of times, but had no luck. Around noon he responded and said he’d be there in 2 hours, and around 2 he still did not show. Eventually he showed up at 6 PM after I had just figured he wasn’t coming at all. He was hired to install new insulation in the ceiling and repair the ceiling drywall. Well- he did the work but it was left in awful condition and began to fall apart the next day. I informed him and he subsequently told me that he has been hospitalized for a dog bite. I was able to find another contractor who was able to successfully do the work in the meantime, and negotiated a half refund with Greene’s. Well he said he sent a check, and said it went to the wrong address (I checked with the neighbor he addressed it to and he did not receive one). He said he sent a new one to the correct address and a week later it did not come. Then I asked him to send it via FedEx or UPS so we could track it, and he agreed, but eventually stopped responding to me. I understand he’s newer at the work, and for that I tried to be fair and still pay for the materials plus some, but I finally realized he is unskilled, poor at communicating, and also a liar. I would never hire this person again, not strictly based on the poor craftsmanship but that he is terribly unorganized and deceitful.

I owe more details for a 1 star rating. Dave was clearly working another job when he said he would be at our condominium. He said he might come out Wednesday as there was no rain in the forecast. Never happened and didn't show. Wednesday night he asked for a deposit to be ready for Thursday while he would be there. This turned in to Friday because rain was in the forecast (barely rained). So he texted Thursday night and said "rain or shine I will be there tomorrow at 10am." I called and texted him Friday at show time and throughout the day. Never heard back. I told him to cancel the job at 145pm when I didn't hear anything from him. He called me at 624pm Friday night from new number and said he lost his phone and was now at the job site and can someone let me in. No thank you.

Not a problem Donny! I had personal family matters going on including 3 days later out of the hospital with a lacerated tendon in my hand completely cut with a two month recovery time. I let you know the night that it happened and said I would be acouple days before I would figure something out and you said okay, You also left out the part where I went out and bought material without a deposit and that’s when I said have the deposit ready after buying it all in good faith!! Not only do I have an injury but I also took my own money out of pocket to buy the materials before hand so you’d show good Faith of having my deposit ready...three days out of The hospital I still tired to do your job, Sorry that there’s no pleasing you and when I talked to you the night I got out of the hospital you should have said that you would get another contractor not lead me on to thinking that the job was still there knowing I already put money out!!! You screwed me over on my time gas and money....A total loss all the way around,I will be calling and following up with your committee board about not only your professional conduct but the way the situation was presumed handled...You signed a legal contact and broke , Point blank period , Skilled labor isn’t cheap and cheap labor isn’t skilled! After telling you want needed to be done you didn’t want done you wanted it done your way witch is the wrong way and will only cost you more and more money due to your negligence,karma..have a nice day mr.leggans

I like to give veterans and LEO’s “law enforcement officers” a bit of a break! They publicly served us the least I could do is serve them!
