Introduction

I began playing piano when I was four years old. At eight years I began giving concerts, and At Fifteen years I began recording professionally. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theory and Composition from Hofstra University and attended the Aaron Copeland School of Music and the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for my Masters Degree in Music Theory. I am a performer, composer, theorist and teacher. I will prepare you for any musical career you choose, or if you just want to play for yourself. Whatever your goals, I will help you reach them and surpass them! I teach from ages 4 to Golden years and customize each lesson for the individual students. I teach remotely and in person at the students home or in my Studio.

Dan is very easy to work with . His knowledge in theory of music and his piano instruction is very good. I had no experience with piano playing and just a few weeks in I look forward to playing beautiful piano songs in the future. Dan shows unbelievably patience during my piano instruction process. I highly recommend him. Plus he is a nice man.

My 12 year old son met several Piano Instructors. My son selected Dan. He said he was cool and he likes his vibe. You can tell Dan is very experienced and passionate about his love of music and teaching. He has an extensive background in music. Dan's personality works well with my child. My son is excited to continue enhancing his piano skills with Dan. Dan is patient, provides good feedback, and encouragement.

A new student can expect to play a bit for me and let me know what they’d like to achieve. I’ll then set up expectations and goals.
