I used 2 the Altar for an event in May and I was on a tight timeline. Dawn was absolutely amazing to work with. She created exactly what we wanted and met our tight budget without sacrificing quality. Also, because we were short on time, I was even more impressed with how quickly she organized the decor for our event. It was a very stressful time and knowing that Dawn was there to handle the decor really gave me peace of mind to focus on other aspects of our event. Dawn - thank you so much for making our vision come to life and how spot on you were with matching our colors and nailing the look we were going after!!
2 The Alter was absolutely incredible for our wedding. We had a small backyard elopement, and Dawn completely transformed the space—it was everything we hoped for and more. Dawn and Melissa created an absolutely gorgeous backdrop for my sister’s Indian pre-wedding festivities. They were amazing to work with from start to finish, ensuring every detail was perfect. Their centerpiece truly became the life of the party, drawing endless compliments from our guests. The entire process, from planning and contracting to setup, was seamless, easy, and efficient. 2 The Altar [Melissa & Dawn]
were hired to do my son‘s baby shower. They were diligent in getting all my ideas together and ensuring that the baby shower turned out exactly how I envisioned. We met a few times to make sure that the table setting backdrop and colors were precisely done and that we were on the same page. they go above and beyond and are very knowledgeable about the industry. At the end of the day when family and friends are still commenting on the event you know you had a home run! Thank you, Dawnn and Melissa for a beautiful baby shower. More events coming.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like sitting down with them, and just listening to their wedding process. This way I familiarize myself with their wedding, which makes my job much easier.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve worked for 2 years at David’s bridal before the pandemic hit. I have my certificate in wedding planning, I’ve worked as a liaison to an event planning company on several tasks. I handcraft favors as well
