Despite paying him in full, he repeatedly told me he was “only helping” me, as if the work were a favor rather than a contracted service. I had to constantly remind him of tasks we had already discussed, and even then, the job was not completed properly.
Toward the end, he began prioritizing another client and would leave his apprentice—who barely spoke English—to handle the work unsupervised. The quality suffered, and communication became impossible.
The worst part is that my television was damaged during the job, and he refused to take responsibility. I had to replace it myself for $1,500.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this contractor. The lack of accountability, poor workmanship, and unprofessional behavior made this a costly and stressful process.
