About

I have been teaching piano for more than 19 years now. Also I have performed both as a pianist and as a choir vocalist, and had opportunity to accompany soloists on performances. It gave me a chance to learn how to understand the needs of my colleagues form the other side of the music stand. That allowed me me develop different techniques in transferring music experience. It is my privilege to work with students of all ages and levels. Currently I have been teaching in Hunterdon Academy of the Arts in Flemington and also in my studio that counts almost 40 students now. My studio is located in Princeton ( Washington Rd). I prepare students for competitions, Royal Academy Certifications but the thing that makes me happy the most in my work is to see the student glow with joy and confidence after playing the music piece for the first time.

Dragana is a great teacher. She's very attentive and patient. I loved that on the first day of class she took her time with my son and daughter showed them the inside of the piano, and how it works. She really helped grow their love of music.

My daughter and her friend only had two lessons so far, but Dragana is patient with the girls. They are both shy. At this time we are meeting at Dragana's home studio. She works with the two girls for 45 minutes. We are beginners and excited to learn more.

I charge monthly. $30 per 30 minutes $45 per 45 minutes $55 per hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I start with trial lesson. That gives me a good perspective what are student's goals and level. After that I am able to make a plan for my new student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got my Degree in piano performing and music education Music Academy, University of Arts, Belgrade, Serbia ( ex Yugoslavia). My major was Piano.
