- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are very proud of our hourly system. We have no retainers or recurring fees. You simply pay for the amount of hours needed to complete the task(s). We charge all open hours daily at a rate of $45/h. Say we do 4h of work for you today. Your card gets charged for $180 tomorrow day. Also since we prorate to 10 minutes only - say we do 20 minutes of work today - your card gets charged for $15 tomorrow day. When you don't send work, we don't charge you. It's as simple as that. This system really benefits small and medium businesses, as they have an IT agency on hand whenever they need us and they don't have to pay monthly or annually fees. They only pay when they use us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We listen to you- We get with you to understand your needs and where you want the websites focus. 2. We are fast and available. If you need us, we are there and we relentlessly focus on customer service. 3. We present the site to you and then you make any changes desired. 4. We do rounds of changes until you are happy. 5. Finally, we fully SEO optimize the entire site! 6. Go Live and get new business! 7. TechBear also has ongoing support with SEM, Digital marketing, hosting, graphic design and other services. TechBear has a range of optional services to help your business grow.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Running another business before TechBear! Seriously. The most important experience was to be in the position of running a small biz that really needed to watch every dime and get results from it's digital footprint. I still have that practical approach to proving what we do provides new business for our clients. We don't do tech for tech's sake alone. If it does not produce, we don't recommend it. Your site + social media are two of the absolute cheapest ways to drive new clients to your business.
