John is the absolute best! I recently purchased a 5 gallon freshwater tank for my kids but had trouble stabilizing the water and unfortunately, my fish died slowly after introducing them to the tank. Even though the project was certainly smaller than his typical work, John came to my home to test the water and cycle the tank properly. He ultimately recommended we upgrade to a larger tank, gave us basic testing equipment we needed, and sat patiently answering all our questions about general maintenance and care. Most of all, he is incredibly kind and very passionate about his work. I definitely look forward to working with him in the future!

My brother-in-law is in the hospital with a bad brain bleed stroke and we have no idea what to do with his salt water tank. John and his brother were AMAZING !! Expert knowledge on everything! I bought fish for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the fish I had ordered were delayed. As a courtesy, the company i had ordered them from sent me 3 additional fish at no charge (despite the fact that I really didn’t want or know what to do with 6 fish). i tried my ABSOLUTE best to take care of all 6 fish. I went through 2 different tanks (wasn’t sure what the appropriate tank was), 3 partial water changes, and everyday, I did what I thought I should be doing. unfortunately, I really had no idea what I was doing and the fish tank continued to get cloudy and clearly not healthy for the fish! i randomly decided to reach out to anyone who could help on thumbtack. sure enough john responded right away. he didn’t try to sell me. all he said was he think he knew my issue and would be happy to help. long story short, he came to help me (as he admits he could tell I really needed help), walked me through the entire process, and even offered to adopt 2 fish of mine for 6 weeks while the aquarium settled ( had no idea 6 fish couldn’t go in all at once). i’ve texted him daily ever since he has come and he has always responded immiedietly and willingly. hands down, john will forever be my go to guy for any help I need gojng forward! he’s extremely knowledge, patient, friendly, likeable and very fairly priced! don’t look any further for anyone else besides john!
