If you’re considering hiring him, please do yourself a favor and think twice.
I gave this man opportunity after opportunity after opportunity to fix his work. I was patient far beyond what anyone should reasonably be expected to be. And what did I end up with? A bathroom that I now have to DEMOLISH portions of just to correct what he built.
The shower walls he constructed are so uneven and out of alignment that I CANNOT EVEN INSTALL MY SHOWER GLASS. Let that sink in.
I went through an entire renovation, only to reach the point of installing the glass and discover that the walls themselves are not properly constructed for it. I now have to tear out and rebuild the walls he created before I can finish my shower.
And that’s only ONE problem.
Broken and chipped tiles. Chipped tile at the top of the shower. Uneven work. Misaligned fixtures. Unfinished grout. Poorly executed arches. Damaged marble. Construction residue left behind. Plumbing issues. Unfinished silicone and caulking. Damage that extended outside the bathrooms. Esteem damage marble walls worth over $6000, they put vinegar !! vinegar, who puts vinegar on a natural stone???
And then there is my guest bathroom tub.
A NEW tub was damaged during this renovation. I reported the crack immediately. Instead of me simply receiving what I paid for — a new, undamaged bathroom — I ended up dealing with attempted repairs and eventually being told the tub would need to be reglazed.
Absolutely not.
I did not spend months renovating my home and purchasing new materials so that somebody could damage them and then tell me they can be patched, repaired or reglazed.
At some point, enough is enough.
I kept giving Jason chances because I desperately wanted my home FINISHED. I didn’t want drama. I didn’t want another contractor. I didn’t want to start over. I wanted the person I hired to stand behind his work and FIX IT.
Instead, I finally had to fire him.
Now other professionals have to come into my home to demolish, rebuild, repair, restore and finish what was left behind.
The pictures and videos speak for themselves, and thankfully I documented this renovation extensively from beginning to end.
So no, this isn’t someone complaining because of one crooked tile or one small imperfection.
I AM WARNING PEOPLE BECAUSE I WISH SOMEONE HAD WARNED ME.
I would NEVER allow Jason to work inside my home again.
