FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At DNA Heating & Cooling Services, we believe in honest, transparent, and upfront pricing. Our pricing is based on a flat-rate model, meaning customers know the full cost of the work before any repairs or installations begin. We provide our best price from the start, without high-pressure sales tactics, hidden fees, or surprise charges. We do not believe in "nickel-and-diming" our customers with unnecessary add-ons or inflated pricing. Any applicable discounts, financing options, permit fees, or additional work outside the original scope will be clearly communicated and approved before proceeding. Our goal is to deliver exceptional value, quality workmanship, and complete transparency throughout the entire process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At DNA Heating & Cooling Services, we make the process simple, transparent, and pressure-free from start to finish. We begin by discussing your comfort concerns, goals, and budget while answering any questions. We focus on educating customers, not selling to them, and there are never any high-pressure sales tactics. For many installations and system replacements, we can provide a virtual quote using a few photos and basic equipment information. Because we perform HVAC installations every day, our quotes are typically over 99% accurate without requiring an in-home sales visit, allowing customers to receive fast, convenient pricing without pressure. Once you’re comfortable with the proposal, we review equipment options, warranties, financing (if needed), and scheduling. Our installation team completes the work professionally and efficiently while keeping you informed throughout the process. After installation, we walk you through your new system, answer any questions, and ensure you are fully satisfied before the job is considered complete. Our goal is to make every experience easy, informative, and stress-free while delivering the quality workmanship and customer service DNA is known for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team combines formal education, certifications, manufacturer training, and real-world experience. The owner holds a Bachelor’s Degree, completed HVAC training through technical college, and maintains Universal EPA Certification. We are licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including PA and NJ HIC registrations and a NJ Master HVAC License. Our technicians receive ongoing training through Bryant and Carrier distributor partners and participate in NATE certification programs, a leading standard in the HVAC industry. The owner brings 10+ years of HVAC installation experience and 8 years in service, sales, and management, along with an engineering background in commercial systems, including water-source heat pumps and UPS systems. This combination of education, training, and field experience allows us to provide reliable recommendations, quality workmanship, and long-term solutions for our customers.
