Hello! My name is Bill and I am the owner and inspector of Foundation Home Inspections LLC. When you hire Foundation you have the comfort of knowing that your inspection will be completed by a licensed NJ Home Inspector and PA/NJ licensed Professional Engineer. I opened my inspection business in January 2015 after over 20 years as an engineer in the home building business. I take pride in educating my clients and working hard to thoroughly inspect the home. Buying a home is one of your biggest purchases in life. My inspection and report will provide you with the decision making tools you need for the purchase, negotiations and plan for your home. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the square footage of the home and the age of the home. I do offer discounts for Thumbtack customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts Foundation Home Inspections for an inspection. The price is set and the inspection is scheduled with the buyer and the listing agent. The buyer receives the pre-inspection agreement and signs it electronically. Foundation performs the inspection and payment is made on the day of the inspection. The report is issued within 1-2 days following the inspection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the 140 hour home inspection training course. I regularly attend New Jersey National Association of Certified Home Inspectors training. I am a licensed professional engineer in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I am a certified radon measurement technician.
