Highly recommend Steve at SJB Venture LLC for deck framing and carpentry work! He stepped in to finish our deck project—prepping and pouring concrete footings to anchor our stair stringers securely, installing composite boards on our deck bench, and putting up clean perimeter lattice. Super responsive, fair pricing, licensed, and showed up ready to work. It's rare to find contractors who do what they say they'll do, but Steve delivered 100%.
I would highly recommend Steve for any decking work you need done. He's very meticulous, on time, and reasonably priced. If you need any deck work done call Steve first. You won't be disappointed.

I currently offer a 10% discount if paid in cash. My fees depend on the size and scope of the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will set up an introduction with a new customer, where we can discuss the project and what they are looking to get done. I will then provide a quote and estimated time of completion to the customer, and work with them if they have any questions along the way. If they accept my quote, I will set a date and time to get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the carpentry and construction industry for over 35 years and have gotten on the job experience for many different tasks.
