I hired this handyman to hang doors, patch walls, paint, and change bulbs in a high foyer. He came out beforehand, looked at the job, and knew exactly what was needed, yet still arrived without a ladder tall enough to change the light bulbs. One of the biggest issues was with the doors. I purchased slab doors, and after starting the job, he sent me photos saying there were no holes or hinge notches cut into them. That is standard for slab doors and exactly what I hired a handyman to do. I ultimately had to hire a specialist to properly hang the doors because he was unable to complete the work. The wall and ceiling repairs were also rough and highly visible, and the paint colors did not match what was requested. To be fair, he did come back with a friend, and the friend fixed the ceiling issue, which I appreciated. However, I still now need to hire another handyman just to change the foyer light bulbs that should have been done during the original visit. On top of that, my house was left a complete mess. There was spackle all over my hardwood floors and furniture. When they returned, I specifically handed them two tarps and asked them not to get anything on the floors because they had just been cleaned. Despite that, there were white footprints tracked throughout the house. They attempted to clean before leaving, but it only spread the material around more, and I spent hours cleaning up afterward myself. Overall, this job ended up costing me more time, more money, and more stress. I would not recommend.
