Music is my true passion in life and I feel like I am able to convey that passion in others. There are a lot of great musicians in the world, but not many of them have the right mindset to be great teachers. I feel confident in saying that I do have that mindset.
I love all the people I have come to know through the years. I have had lots of students that have taken lessons for years and I have watched grow up. It has been an amazing and enlightening experience for sure.

As you read from this music teachers Bio, I believe it says it all! He has worked with our son for many years. Prior to this music teacher we had 2 other private teachers which did not bring our son to his full potential. This music teacher was not only the best of the 3 of them on a professional level, but also on a personal level. In other words what I am trying to say is that he is a terrific music teacher!!

As someone over the age of 40, I had my doubts about taking up the guitar. Three years ago, I started studying with Jed from Creative Music Instruction, and looking back, I'm really glad I did. I studied with other teachers before, but Jed was different in the way he could break down complex information about music theory so that I could actually understand it. He also took time to explore my musical interests in our lessons and has helped me reach several milestones in the years we've been working together. For instance, he helped me overcome my anxieties about performance and recently I was able to play at my church in front of dozens of people.

Jed instructed me in guitar and voice lessons. Jed is a great teacher - I learned a lot from him and he helped me to understand the parts of music that were confusing to me before. I appreciated his encouraging, laid back demeanor. He was never late to a lesson and was very accommodating with his schedule. He is extremely knowledgable of his field and I would recommend him to anyone!
