FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can price two ways; by the hour, or by the job. The way I decide is to discuss with the client what is more comfortable for them. People with small jobs may be inclined to be billed hourly, while those with larger jobs tend to prefer a complete job pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process includes a discussion where I get a firm idea of the Scope of Work, i.e. how big is the project, what does it entail, what is the timeframe for completion. Once I, and the client, have an idea that we are in accord about what the project actually IS, we can then discuss how we will work together to completion. I understand that people often don't know exactly what they are looking for, they just know that they need help. That is why this process of outline scope is so important.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly participating in courses, online and in class, to improve and update my skills.
