What I like most about capturing moments is that I am doing a service to someone that means something special to them. Every wedding is unique, every wedding is treated different. I'm told I have "great" energy! That helps me to stay focused throughout a 8-10hr. wedding day.

We used Michael for our June 2014 wedding. He did such a beautiful job! We have a large family and young children, and he managed to take beautiful posed photos with patience and fun. Mike also manages to take incredible candid photos without ever intruding on moments or being "in the way." He captured photos of so much without us even realizing he was so close! He is very observant and doesn't miss anything that you would want to make sure to have a memory of. He also works well with you to make sure he knows exactly what you are looking for. Michael did such a fantastic job that we have already booked him for our son's Bar Mitzvah. I highly recommend MsKPhotography for portraits or any event you may have coming up.

Mike Koehler was instrumental in making the memories of the whole day come together. He was everywhere with the camera, but never intrusive. The portrait shots of the wedding party were perfect. However, where he was best was the roaming candid crowd shots. When we look back on the pictures it really feels like I'm re-living the experience. Hire this man, RIGHT NOW!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have one flat rate, you get me for your day. Up to 10 hrs. is usually a good enough time...... unless you have tons of events & it's a weekend of F*U*N!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work with othere photographers, so we keep ourselves updated and contemporary.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a class in High school and I was hooked. My brother always had a darkroom in our home growing-up, so I guess I was born into it!
