- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's hard to give a general price for services because to me every individual differs. One person may not take as long or may not need as much and you have to price fairly. For instance if one client has super thick curly long hair and wants a full head of highlights, and there's another client who has shoulder length, fine, thin hair and wants highlights, I feel like I cant charge them the same, one is going to take more work, more product, and more time.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm following in my grandmother's footsteps. My grandmother, mom and me love the beauty industry. I've been around it all my life. It's more then a passion to me and that's how I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common types of jobs would definitely be proms and special occasions. I get a lot of young girls that need their makeup and/or hair done for prom and special occasions such as dates, girls night outs, parties, etc. I also get a lot of jobs to do touch-ups and cuts too. They're very common. It's easier to call me, knowing they'll get what they want, rather then try to find a salon that can do that.
