Absolutely love this salon. The staff is very welcoming and quick to take care of whoever walks in the door. The music and people there set a perfect tone for you to come and relax. Sparkles has done my hair and makeup and she is OUTSTANDING!!! She is big on hair care and is very knowledgeable about her products and what she stands for. As far as makeup, I've never been so pleased before, usually people make me look tanner and by the time I break a little sweat my face looks like its falling apart, but not Sparkles, she was able to contour my face and give me perfect tones and highlights right where I needed them, I felt beautiful and I did not feel like my face was "caked" at all. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! THANK YOU AFH!!

This young lady is a phenomenal stylist. Her salon is clean,and very well organized the staff was very welcoming. I've been wearing weave for well over 20 years, and her sew ins are the best I've ever had hands down they are very neat and natural looking. More importantly this stylist takes the time out to teach her clients how to care for their hair and how to maintain healthy hair. Not only is this stylist phenomenal with her sew ins she's also phenomenal with skin care for both light and dark skin.

The environment is so friendly & welcoming every time you walk into AFH! I am never disappointed with the work. I get compliments from everyone on my hair. The stylist also stay true to appointment times; I never have to wait around.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down with the client and go over what their overall needs are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from empire beauty school. I've also taken various classes in bridal makeup,extensions coloring technique etc..
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to check references. It is also a good idea to ask for pictures of past protects the provider has worked on.
