FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project I take on is completely custom — there's no one-size-fits-all package here. Your home is unique, your lifestyle is unique, and the design I create for you will reflect that. Pricing is tailored to the scope, number of rooms, and level of service that actually makes sense for your project. Whether you're looking for a virtual E-Design package you can execute yourself, or full-service design where I handle everything from concept through final reveal, I make sure the investment aligns with what you're trying to achieve. I also source strategically across price points — so you're never paying for more than you need, but you're always getting quality where it counts. The best place to start is a discovery call. Once I understand your space, your vision, and your goals, I can put together a proposal that feels right for you — no guesswork, no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It always starts with a conversation. Once you reach out, I'll schedule a discovery call (or site visit for local NJ/NY clients) to learn about your space, your style, your budget, and your timeline. From there, I put together a scoped proposal with a clear breakdown of phases, deliverables, and fees. Once we're aligned and the contract is signed, we move into the design phase — starting with understanding your space and style deeply, then building out mood boards, floor plans, and material selections. We refine together until it feels exactly right. For full-service projects, I handle everything after that: procurement, contractor coordination, deliveries, and the final installation and reveal. For E-Design clients, I hand off a complete package so you can execute at your own pace. The goal throughout is that you feel guided and confident — never overwhelmed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training is rooted in real, hands-on experience. Before launching Zo & Co., I worked closely with established interior design studios in New York, where I learned the full scope of the business — from concept development and client management to sourcing, procurement, and project execution. There's no substitute for learning in that environment, and it gave me a strong foundation before going out on my own.
