- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically would schedule a free consultation to get some more information on what the client is looking for and start developing a plan for the space. Next, I would take time to sort through items, with the clients assistance. Then, I would begin purging any unnecessary items, and begin to organize the remaining objects. The ultimate goal is to make sure that every item has a home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organization (NAPO) which provides training on principles related to organization, strategies to implement when organizing, as well as ethics related to the field. I’ve also received training and certificates from the International Association of Professional Organizing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise any customer that organizing takes TIME! And if you are truly looking for organization, especially the transferral of organizational skills, it will be a process. But, the time and effort is ALWAYS worth it in the end!
