We really didn't know where to start when looking for piano lessons. Luckily we contacted Emilie and she's been our daughter's teacher for over 6 months now. Her teaching style is warm and efficient and the progress has been tremendous. Our daughter is excited for her lessons and enjoys practicing between classes. Emilie is responsive, flexible, and most importantly a great piano teacher with many personal accomplishments in the music industry. Simply put, we love her and would recommend her in a heart beat!

Emilie is an exceptional piano and voice teacher who clearly has experience working with children and young adults of wide ranging abilities - from competitive pre-professional musicians to students whose goals are proficiency, pleasure and musical genre exploration. My two children have been studying with Emilie for 6 years and we are forever grateful for the gift of music that now permeates our home.
She is a lovely and talented person who has magical ways of drawing the very best out of her musicians and singers. As a parent, I love how easy it is to communicate with Emilie. She’s professional, prompt and a pleasure to have in our life. Thank you, Emilie! 💖

Emilie is an outstanding piano teacher. She is also a very kind and supportive person. She has engaged students of all ages through a flexible "geared to your interests" approach. She is not a teacher who adheres solely to the lesson books alone - though they absolutely serve a useful purpose. She inspires her students through her willingness to tackle whatever music her students are excited to play. She has worked with both of my daughters and both are big fans of her. My rising high school senior has entered master classes, certification programs and also won a first place recognition in a competition that, next weekend, will enable my daughter to play at Carnegie Hall. My daughter also successfully auditioned for, and participated in, a summer Juilliard piano master class that had slots for only a small number of students. We are so grateful to Emilie for all of her support and encouragement. It takes a very unique person to teach the discipline of piano - both the basics and the dynamics - as well as to connect with students where they are at - and to be a kind and encouraging presence in the student's life. Emilie is "one of a kind" and we are so grateful that we found her and that she has instilled what we hope - and expect - will be a lifelong love of music in both of our daughters!
