Introduction: Hi, my name is Conor Peacock. I run More Barn Studios in Stockton, New Jersey. Here, I teach private cello, violin, and piano lessons in person and online. I also offer recording services as a professional sound engineer with experience recording many different instruments, vocal ranges, and styles. More Barn Studios is also known in the area for hosting performances. We have had musicians come from all over the United States, and even internationally, to perform. Music has been my passion since I took my first violin lesson when I was three years old. At eight years of age, I decided to switch my primary instrument to the cello. I had fallen in love with its sound after listening to the Bach Cello Suites. Many years later, I enjoy helping my students find and cultivate that same passion I found. During my lessons, I teach students how to explore the music that they find most interesting. One of my favorite ways to do this is by teaching my students ways to study performers and different styles in order to grow their musical knowledge. All of my lessons are guaranteed to be tailored to my students’ needs. If you are interested in personalized lessons, top-of-the-line music recording and production, or an experienced cello performer don’t hesitate to reach out!

Conor is a kind man and really great cello teacher. He always listens to my questions no matter how dumb I think they are. I’m third generation musicaian so I know a great teacher when I see one, and Conor is definitely great. He’s very patient, historically informative, and his passion not just for performing but teaching as well shines through very easily. Every lesson I leave feeling even more excited about playing the cello than before which I didn’t think was possible. I take lessons with him via Skype because we live 3000 miles apart so that’s very convenient. I don’t have to lug my cello around San Francisco or even leave my bedroom. Conor is very understanding about my health problems too. I can’t recommend him highly enough! He’s definitely the best cello teacher I’ve ever had!

Lessons with Conor @ Cello Grooves are fun and have helped me improve my playing a lot. I’ve also learned some theory which has always been a challenge for me. Thanks Conor!

I have no complaints regarding my cello lessons with Conor. He is very attentive to even the smallest of details and knows exactly what I need in order to continuously improve. It is evident that he puts a lot of thought into lesson preparation each week. I'm never bored in my lessons, either; there's always something new and exciting to learn. I definitely made the best choice in selecting Conor as my teacher.
