Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am able to provide in depth teaching and mentoring in many areas of music including improvisation, jazz, classical, romantic, and contemporary. I look to set unique goals and structure lessons for each individual student to help them find and explore the areas of music and cello playing they are most interested in. I aim to teach students how to have fun learning the cello and making music in general. I always enjoy making music and being able to share what has been passed on to me by my teachers. Bringing all of the experiences learned through performance, mentoring, and rigorous practice into a lesson inevitably results in breakthroughs which are truly amazing to witness.

Fantastic experience at More Barn Studio and working with Conor. The space is impressively built with high-end equipment and excellent acoustics; it's tough to find something as good in the area. Conor will actually be the cellist at my wedding this summer, which I'm extremely excited about. So glad to have such an impressive studio and musician, 10/10 would recommend for any musical needs.

My experience with More Barn Studios has been nothing short of excellent. The studio engineer is far excelled in recording expertise. His professionalism, advice, consistency, and accommodation services are way above par, they’re terrific. His knowledge and wisdom in music and recording are to be taken in, and absorbed, as I’ve put his tips to great use. As far as the venue, the studio is beautiful; antique barn wood coats the inside of the studio making for great sound quality. His mics are also excellent, and his equipment (software and hardware) are at a professional grade! As far as my experience with recording at More Barn Studios, I give my overall experience an A+, 5 Stars. I look to continue accomplishing more work at More Barn Studios, as the value of the efficiency of the sound engineer’s work is outstanding! I recommend, no matter what stage in your music you’re in, taking a trip to this Studio. I haven’t regretted a single moment of my time, he makes it fun as well. Plus, I’m not sure for how long this isn’t an option due to COVID, but his venue is also available for live performances!

Conor is a kind man and really great cello teacher. He always listens to my questions no matter how dumb I think they are. I’m third generation musicaian so I know a great teacher when I see one, and Conor is definitely great. He’s very patient, historically informative, and his passion not just for performing but teaching as well shines through very easily. Every lesson I leave feeling even more excited about playing the cello than before which I didn’t think was possible. I take lessons with him via Skype because we live 3000 miles apart so that’s very convenient. I don’t have to lug my cello around San Francisco or even leave my bedroom. Conor is very understanding about my health problems too. I can’t recommend him highly enough! He’s definitely the best cello teacher I’ve ever had!

Lessons with Conor @ Cello Grooves are fun and have helped me improve my playing a lot. I’ve also learned some theory which has always been a challenge for me. Thanks Conor!

I have no complaints regarding my cello lessons with Conor. He is very attentive to even the smallest of details and knows exactly what I need in order to continuously improve. It is evident that he puts a lot of thought into lesson preparation each week. I'm never bored in my lessons, either; there's always something new and exciting to learn. I definitely made the best choice in selecting Conor as my teacher.
