About

Hello, my name is Jared! I have been a performing musician for the last ten years and a music educator for the past six years (I teach both children and adults). I received a degree from New York University where I majored in Jazz Performance with a focus on guitar. There, I began studying with esteemed musicians such as Lenny White and Adam Rogers. In addition, I have extensive performance experience in the United States and abroad. It is my mission to share what I have learned with those that also have a passion for music. I tailor lessons to the student and can teach any style of music. I want to teach what the student wants to learn and I love being shown new music in addition to showing new music to others. I teach in person or over Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype. I look forward to working with you!

I knew Jared was an exceptional guitar player and musician (he plays base, too), but didn’t realize how good he was at both explaining music theory and teaching its practical application in a super-fun way.
