I cannot say enough good things about AMS Home Improvement and the owner, Armando.
I hired AMS to transform a 300 square feet of unfinished storage space into a fully finished living area. The storage room originally had only about 5 feet of ceiling height, making it usable only for storage. At 6 feet 1 inch tall, I had to constantly duck and bend over just to move around the room.
During the planning process, we discovered there was approximately 2.5 feet of unused space beneath the existing floor. By carefully lowering the floor into that existing space, Armando and his team were able to create a beautiful new living area with approximately 7 feet of ceiling height.
This was not an ordinary renovation, and the transformation was remarkable. From the framing and drywall to the painting and every finishing detail, the craftsmanship was exceptional. What was once an unusable storage room is now one of the nicest and most functional spaces in my home.
From the very beginning, Armando was honest, knowledgeable, and fair with his pricing. What really stood out was that he didn't just complete the construction. He took ownership of the entire project. He recommended an excellent architect, coordinated the permit process with the City, handled the logistics every step of the way, and even walked me through the final inspection. Having someone manage those details made the entire renovation much less stressful.
Once all of the permits were approved, Armando and his team got right to work. They were professional, respectful of my home, and completed the renovation in about two weeks. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and the finished space turned out even better than I had envisioned.
What impressed me most about Armando is his character. He is hardworking, genuinely cares about his clients, and follows through on his commitments. Throughout the project he was accountable, communicative, and always willing to go the extra mile. He doesn't ask for your trust. He earns it.
I would recommend AMS Home Improvement without hesitation to anyone looking for a contractor who is skilled, dependable, and truly invested in delivering a great result. I will absolutely be using Armando again for future home improvement projects.

We met up with many contractors, but felt the best about Armando. He is a sincere guy who does the work himself along with his trusted team, does not bring random guys off the street. He gave us a detailed quote, he kept his word and the work was done on the timeline he set. He was great with responding to calls and texts, and our bathroom looks amazing. He also did great electrical work, plumbing, and other projects we needed done. His price is fair, and he is very good at what he does. He updates you as you go and makes sure you are aware of any changes so you can make the best choice. Highly recommend.
