We couldn't be any happier about our experience with Sankar construction. From our initial consultation until the completion of the project, Sam and his team were curtious, professional, and honest. We live in an older home, and the 3.5 bathrooms were long overdue for updating. Sam provided us with up front pricing and also gave incredibly valuable input on potential layout changes to optimize our limited space. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The quality of work and attention to detail are unprecedented. This team treats your home as if it is their own and will not cut any corners. I'm happy to say that we have found our contractor for life.

I quoted with 6 different contractors for our Bedroom Renovation. Of the six, 3 actually would provide a quote of the job. Two of those were extraordinarily high for a project of this size (given my prior experience) and the final quote didn't even set foot in my house to quote and was eventually the contractor we went with, and we're happy we did. Given the challenges with Covid, it was a tough time to be quoting, but Sam was satisfied with the scope of work and pictures of the work to be done to sufficiently quote the project. My wife and I had some questionable experiences with past contractors and unfortunately Sam had to bare some of that baggage from our end, but he was patient and calm to reassure us. All of our concerns quickly went away once the job started - especially after seeing one of his crew demolish a 200 sqft bedroom in a single day: plaster, lathe, and all. The framing was completed so fast I had to rush and luckily got the framing rough inspection 2 days after starting. A week later all electrical, wall board and trim was completed. Additionally, we had Sankar refinish a popcorn ceiling, paint walls, and trim and replace 2 additional doors with solid wood. Within 1.5 weeks the room was ready for window installation and the extras were completed. INCREDIBLE compared to our previous experiences. The windows were a bit of a challenge which was mainly due to Covid and ties back to the origins of the project. As we were having trouble getting a solid contractor we put the order in ourselves which took an astounding 8 weeks to be ready. Since Sankar was so fast to knock out not just the original scope but the extras, they had to move on. However, it was only 3 additional days to finish up the windows (including a bay), siding, and trim. Next time when I work with Sankar I will work with them for the windows that's for sure! Working with Sankar Construction started as a leap of faith during uncertain times, but ended with a bedroom that we enjoy coming home to as you can see in the pictures. I highly recommend him for your contracting needs.
