Sankar Construction is a company that takes pride in their work, and want the best for their customer. After getting estimates from 6 other companies, and being close to giving up on redoing my kitchen, Sam from Sankar Construction was the last one to come out and give me an estimate. From our first meeting I knew I was going to hire Sam for the job. His straightforwardness is what spoke to me, and that there were no excuses - Sam and his crew always had solutions to any issue that came up. Julio was an absolute superstar when it came to day to day work and keeping me up to date on what was going on and what to expect next. I work a busy schedule and I wasn’t home a lot while the work was being done but I was always kept up to speed. Unless you’re hiring a designer, trust Sam and his people to guide you through the process. The crew was always on time, and each day they left the work area as clean as possible. Work moved at a lightning speed, and even when I changed my mind about something the crew was flexible and accomodating. Since day one I’ve been impressed with their quality of work. Sam and his crew are knowledgeable, patient, provide high quality of work and are simply the best. I will be recommending Sankar Construction to family, friends and strangers alike, and I will be using them for all future home projects. I just can’t say enough good things about Sam and his company, and I couldn’t be happier with how my kitchen and half bath turned out.

We couldn't be any happier about our experience with Sankar construction. From our initial consultation until the completion of the project, Sam and his team were curtious, professional, and honest. We live in an older home, and the 3.5 bathrooms were long overdue for updating. Sam provided us with up front pricing and also gave incredibly valuable input on potential layout changes to optimize our limited space. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The quality of work and attention to detail are unprecedented. This team treats your home as if it is their own and will not cut any corners. Had a great experience with my contractor . Very professional and courteous I was only allowed to pick 3 options but I would pick all 5 if it was allowed. Sankar Construction put my stress at ease . Their work “immaculate “ would be how I would describe the before/after . Complete transformation.I didn’t have to worry about anything his team took care of cleanup and even moved my things out of my basement for me. They were so good I used them twice for two different projects. Dealing with contractors can be a very scary process. I’m happy that mine was a good one. I plan to use them again in the future.

I quoted with 6 different contractors for our Bedroom Renovation. Of the six, 3 actually would provide a quote of the job. Two of those were extraordinarily high for a project of this size (given my prior experience) and the final quote didn't even set foot in my house to quote and was eventually the contractor we went with, and we're happy we did. Given the challenges with Covid, it was a tough time to be quoting, but Sam was satisfied with the scope of work and pictures of the work to be done to sufficiently quote the project. My wife and I had some questionable experiences with past contractors and unfortunately Sam had to bare some of that baggage from our end, but he was patient and calm to reassure us. All of our concerns quickly went away once the job started - especially after seeing one of his crew demolish a 200 sqft bedroom in a single day: plaster, lathe, and all. The framing was completed so fast I had to rush and luckily got the framing rough inspection 2 days after starting. A week later all electrical, wall board and trim was completed. Additionally, we had Sankar refinish a popcorn ceiling, paint walls, and trim and replace 2 additional doors with solid wood. Within 1.5 weeks the room was ready for window installation and the extras were completed. INCREDIBLE compared to our previous experiences. The windows were a bit of a challenge which was mainly due to Covid and ties back to the origins of the project. As we were having trouble getting a solid contractor we put the order in ourselves which took an astounding 8 weeks to be ready. Since Sankar was so fast to knock out not just the original scope but the extras, they had to move on. However, it was only 3 additional days to finish up the windows (including a bay), siding, and trim. Next time when I work with Sankar I will work with them for the windows that's for sure! Working with Sankar Construction started as a leap of faith during uncertain times, but ended with a bedroom that we enjoy coming home to as you can see in the pictures. I highly recommend him for your contracting needs.
