About
Vince has the unique ability to teach his students how to think like musicians, not just guitar players. There is a big difference in that and it is not always the case with other guitar teachers. He teaches you how to LEARN and avoids filling your lesson time with exercises or information that won't help you grow as a musician. I really enjoy watching a student grow into the Guitarist or Musician they set out to be. Especially when it becomes their career. I have many students that have become proficient at their instrument and have made Music their career. It's a very rewarding feeling.

Vince Genella is a great guitarist and a great teacher, more importantly, Vince is a great MUSICIAN and he has the unique ability to teach his students how to think like musicians, not just guitar players. There is a big difference in that and it is not always the case with other guitar teachers. He teaches you how to LEARN and avoids filling your lesson time with exercises or information that won't help you grow as a musician, but rather focuses on aspects of music that help YOU become unique and find your 'voice' as a guitarist and musician. He is also just a very cool dude, has incredible chops, a great ear, and keeps you motivated to play and improve. JC.

I have performed along side Vince in various live situations well over 10 years now. Although I never received lessons from him, his knowledge of theory and ear for music shines through in every performance. Many of our performances included jamming 'on the fly' and would come off like a well rehearsed performance due to his ability to follow and predict chord changes, somehow melting his leads in with the changes. So if you want insight into how to pick up a guitar and rip through some scales like you've been playing since the day you were born, or just strum some chords at the camp fire this is the guy to show you how.

As a student for over 2 years, I've found that Vince is truly a professional musician with a deep understanding of his instrument. Lessons are very much tailored to the individual student and accomdations to a student's diversity is handled with an exceptional knowledge base. Highly recommended!
