Introduction

Each and every person I work with I am passionate about. I try to be as thorough and direct with each assignment I help a student complete. My goal is to help each toddler, child, teen, or adult gain the self confidence to succeed. I have volunteered and worked with children ages ranging from three years old through college level for over 20 years. I also have a son who is ADHD, so I have the patience and understanding to know that each child or person learns in a variety of different ways. My goal is to work with you on a learning level that reaches out to you, I want to help you believe and feel confidence that you can complete your assignments, as well as reach your goals successfully. I find such a great feeling of satisfaction when I am able to help another person succeed. When I receive the amazing feedback and know that I was able to make a different in someone else's life, that feeling is priceless. I believe that every single person is capable of achieving their goals, and conquering their dreams. My job is to help guide each student on the right path to achieve these goals. I take my work seriously and a lot of pride in what I do, whether it is completing my own assignments or helping other's.

Christine helped me with tutoring during my Composition II class at the local college. English is my second language and I am not always confident with my writing. Since my college did not offer tutoring during the time I needed, I reached out to Christine, she works at my daughter's preschool and attends the same college as I. Christine helped me with my formal essay, I sent her my essay via email to critique and within an hour Christine got back to me. Her insights were very helpful, she helped me with the sentence flow, pointed out my grammar (punctuations) and suggested how to organize my paragraphs better and how to make my thesis strong. Also, Christine was very helpful with links to a website with Transitional words and phrases. Christine is very easy to understand and she is very straight forward and very encouraging even when I thought some of my work was not as good. I like that she points out my strengths. Nothing went wrong, Christine helped me to become a better writer and thanks to her I enjoyed writing and correcting my essay. I sent my corrected work back to Christine two more times and every time my essay was better, thanks to her critique and encouragement, because it made me excited to work on it. I do not like writing and thanks to Christine I did not have bad time writing it at all.Christine definitely wend above and beyond and I felt like I am being her priority.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually work with fixed rates the majority of the time. Sometimes though I will charge hourly. I try to be as fair to the customer, as well as to myself.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know the student by asking what they are having difficulties with. I also consult with the parents when I'm working with younger students to get a better understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, and concerns. I show the students how writing can be fun and exciting when they learn the proper writing skills. I also will provide for the younger students supplies to help them, but also to bring out their creative side so when they think about doing writing assignments they will have something to look forward to. My goal is to have the students I work with feel as comfortable, relaxed, and help to raise their self esteem, I want them to believe in themselves.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently studying Early Childhood Education/English at Passaic County Community College. I have taken and completed English Composition classes, Creative Writing Classes, and Critical Thinking Classes. I have also taken an Educational class called Including the Exceptional Child. I have two more educational classes to take at the college. I have also been trained on the HIB Law which stands for Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying.
