I had a roof leak on a two year old roof. Original guy just couldn't figure it out. Steve came up to inspect and said it was most likely the chimney flashing because stone chimneys could be tricky. Gave me a fair price and came up about a week later. Spent a good part of the day on the roof which shows his 30 years of dedication. Put up copper and did it the right way and so far about 3 months later, no leaks. I would recommend Steve for any type of work.

Detached garage roof had been leaking for awhile. Needed all shingles removed and damaged wood replaced. Estimate was fairly priced. Job was completed as scheduled. Workmanship is top notch.

I was looking for someone to replace a damaged shake roof on a kit-built cedar shed, but the material cost made that a lot more expensive than I expected. Steve of J&S suggested removing the shakes and replacing them with plywood, tar paper and asphalt shingles. I picked green to match the shingles on the house. The work was done on time at about 1/3 of the cost of cedar. Very happy with the results and would gladly recommend J&S.
