We were recommended to Mighty Oak Construction LLC by Floor and Decor. We were having wood floors installed as well as having a backsplash installed in our kitchen. The process went very smoothly from installation estimate to materials order and finally installation. Glenn, the owner, was very good with his communication throuout the process. He even went to Floor and Decor to make sure that the hardwood we were ordering was of very good quality. The wood and backsplash crews arrived on the date and time promised. They were real craftsmen and completed he projects efficiently and left the job site spotless. I highly recommend this company and that you purchase your materials from Floor and Decir, who have a big selection and great prices. You will not be disappointed.Joe an Renee

will definitely use again and recommend without hesitation.I'm just never sure what I'm going to get when someone that sells floors recommends some to install the floor. We Bought the last 419 feet of a discontinued floor to match our existing floor and we needed 410 feet to finish the space. So we really needed and EXPERT! Since there was no flooring to waste we needed someone who could plan perfectly and not make any mistakes.The guy I bought the floor from recommended 'MIGHY OAK FLOORING.' I was nervous it was Thursday and we were opening the Physical Therapy office on Monday. What were the odds that these guys could get it down fast and make my limited supply of flooring work?The Owner Glenn came in looked around and said, "some of these boards are damaged, but we can make it work. We will be here tomorrow.The workers came early and they got right to work. They came across some problems along the way, but Glenn was always available by phone and they engineered awesome solutions. They planned how to lay my flooring first to make sure it worked.'They got the the whole job done in one day with zero boards to spare.'Beyond doing a great job, fast; The crew was so professional and so nice. They cleaned everything up and sent another truck to pick up all the trash the following day. Even the truck that came to pick up the trash was on time, helpful, and nice.Our office will open on time and looking fantastic!will definitely use again and recommend without hesitation.Kevin

We purchase our flooring from Lumber Liquidators in Fairfield, NJ. The staff there were excellent.Might Oak Floors was the installer. Within one day after making the floor purchase, Glenn contacted us to setup our appointment for measuring the rooms for final square footage to send to Lumber Liquidators. We have a handicapped daughter that has difficulty with some transitions from carpet to floors and stepping over the traditional transitions moldings. Glenn said his guys would match the height so there would be no transitions and it would be seamless for her. His team arrived ahead of their scheduled time and began working. They worked quickly and were very polite and professional. The floors came out PERFECT ! My daughter can walk from room to room and not worry about tripping over any moldings. Glenn followed up several times and could not have been more professional. The service we received was top notch. I would recommend Mighty Oak Floors to anyone looking to have flooring installed!

Mighty Oak was hired by our flooring retailer as a 3rd party to install our new floors. We were told by Mighty Oak that our job would be complete in a single day. The workers were scheduled to arrive between 11am-1pm and showed up at around 1:20pm without a simple courtesy call to inform us they were running late. We asked their boss again if the job could be finished by the end of the day and he replied Yes.We asked the installers to cover our stairs with a tarp because our stairs are carpeted and we didnt want them dirtied by their shoes. After saying they would, they never laid a covering down and continued to walk on our carpeted stairs with their shoes, which we specifically asked them not to do.Then the installers told us they couldnt take the old flooring and other rubbish with them because their truck was full, although we paid for the trash to be removed, per our invoice. After a talk with their front office, they reluctantly ended up taking the trash anyway, which begs the question: If they had the room to take the trash in the first place, why did they claim they couldnt?After less than 3 hours of working, the installers packed up their tools and said theyd be back to finish tomorrow," after the multiple promises that our job could be completed that day. Their boss didnt bother to call us with this revelation himself; instead he called his workers and told them to leave, which put them in the bad position of answering questions they weren't qualified to.(We later discovered that these workers actually installed the underlayment upside-down and not flush against the walls, which is totally wrong, so I guess we're fortunate they didn't finish)To their credit Mighty Oak gave is a lil' discount for our troubles and their boss came to our house the next day, after the job was finally done, to check on everything himself. But before he left, he made sure to tell us that "it goes both way" and we were "rude" for calling them "unprofessional" and we should've been more understanding of their lateness (without a call) because "things happen."All we did was pay to have a job done. We didn't create the circumstances that followed, we just responded to them.

Given our busy lives and schedule we needed to partner with a flooring contractor that could handle everything from start to finish and leave the headaches out of the process. The team at Mighty Oak construction from start to finish were fantastic. The seamless communication from the beginning of the installation felt as if you had a personal flooring contractor at your disposal at all times to answer any questions we had. They made changes in the scope of work transition easily into a wonderfully finished product. The construction team installed flooring throughout my entire home in 1 day.
